Somebody to Love by Spike & the Impalers

Seattle's Bob Rivers Show has become my favorite morning radio program. A truly rare and special group of talented people who inform and entertain like no other show I've heard. A typical day might literally include a rocket scientist and a Playboy centerfold. So it really is like 'NPR on steroids,' as they proclaim.

The video up top is a great example of why these guys are above the rest.
You see, the radio hosts have a side-gig as "Spike & the Impalers." For my money, the best classic-rock cover band in the Northwest. Performances have included legendary guest musicians, and from time to time a line-up of bag-pipe players to blow the roof off the joint with 'It's a Long Way to the Top (If Ya Wanna Rock'n'roll)!' You never know what to expect, which is what makes it so cool.

Recently they decided to have two high-school choirs 'Glee' up a cover of Queen's 'Somebody to Love.' The result is sheer musical joy. Check it out. (and hang around for the insane high note around 3:49)
